Everything sounds better in Latin

Funiculus means ‘Rope’ in Latin and that is exactly what I think of with this beanie and its simple cables that rise up to a neat crown. The ‘ropes’ are separated by squishy panels of a contrasting garter stitch and stockinette mix.

You will be working in the round, from the bottom up. You will be creating simple 4 stitch cables and at the crown you will be decreasing within the cables.

Written in full with handy progress check boxes, so you can keep a visual track of where you are.
