I finally got brave and started letting my scribbled notes become patterns and go out to play in the world.  Watch out for more to come!

This cowl design has been swimming around in my head for so long that I swear I could knit it in my sleep. Ever since childhood I have had a love of mazes so add that with my grown-up love of geometric patterns and engineering and it was only a matter of time before something with clean, lovely lines came tumbling off the needles.

This is knit in the round from the bottom up, starting with a small ribbing section followed by an easily flowing pattern that is essentially just seven different rows of knits and purls, finished off with another small rib section.

There are handy progress check boxes at the end of each row so you can keep a visual track of where you are.

If you like this pattern, please give it a shout out on social media and know that your support is much appreciated.

I can't wait to see your fabulous cowl.

Finished Measurements
Block to 17” / 43.5 cm tall by 11” / 28.5 cm wide (22” / 56cm circumference)

You may decide to not block or maybe to block slightly smaller and that is perfectly fine … it’s your cowl after all. The pattern will still be amazing but just won’t have the clean, sharp definition that blocking creates. I have both a blocked and an unblocked one and it's like having two completely different designs. I love it.
